The thing is, traditional home weatherization insulation methods are also the best methods for reducing heat detection by infrared, for example, fiberglass batting, foam board and vapor barriers. The other method of reducing IR detection is low emissivity materials or coatings on the exterior surfaces. Lead would not be the best material for either insulating or reducing emissivity.
