2nd Stash Of Home Made Hash
...hey, that rhymed.
Ok, I'm knackered, have had a hell of a week at work, hardly slept, only one day off, and stoned, so please, a round of applause for this effort.
Second time I make home made hash, with excellent results each time.
First I cover them in a bucket with ice and cold water. Then I ground it up well with a hand held blender into a green soup with yellow scum on the top. Then I return it to the fridge to settle for half an hour. Then I pour it all through a plastic spaghetti sieve, which retains most of the unusable green plant matter and lets the water, crystals and some finer particles of plant matter pass through into a bucket. I rinse the sieve a bit with cold water over the plant matter just to make sure all the good stuff is running through into the bucket and throw this plant matter away too.
I do this quickly a couple of times, decreasing the garbage plant matter each time.
If you let it rest in the fridge for 30 minutes, the green garbage floats to the top, while the crystals sink to the bottom.
You can scoop lots of the floating green matter up with a spoon and throw away.
Soon the water in the bucket begins to look fairly clear, with a misty cloud at the bottom, though probably with a fine green dust mixed in.
Thats all the trichs, and you're more than half way there now.
It's still mixed up with too much fine plant matter.
Now you need to go to a finer sieve.
I use a fine metal tea seive for this, which works well.
I pour all the water through a tea sieve, which takes about 20 minutes for about 8 litres.
Once again you want to save the water and throw away the increasingly finer ground particles of rubbish plant matter. Rinse through a bit again to make sure the crystals are following through with the water into the bucket.
Now you're at the final stage.
I finish off with a double sieve technique I like to call The Swedish Chefs HashBalls.
Once again the water goes through the tea sieve and into the coffee filter, containing a disposable paper coffee filter.
This process takes about 40 minutes of sitting and waiting to pour through more.
After a while, maybe 2 -3 litres, you'll notice that the coffee filter is getting sludgy with wet brown residue and the water isn't passing through anymore.
At this point I very carefully (the filters explode easily), squeeze the water thats left in the filter until all the water has passed through, until I can fold the whole of the coffee filter and its contents into a tight ball, or square or whatever.
Open it up, and theres your hash.
I like to continue to press it in dry paper filters a couple of times, right now I've got it tightly packed in a little square of paper under the leg of my heavy writing desk, lol.
I get about 8 grams of really smooth and nice hash from a paper bag from two plants.
So there you have it. Dont ever throw the trim away - at least give it to someone, its like throwing a whole cola away.

Hey, Faithless. Haven't seen you around much lately. Seems you're keeping busy with your grow. Hope to see more pictures soon from you.
That hash sounds gooood, man. Wish I could fire some up with ya.
Here is pretty much the same method, not including EVERY picture...and I don't have a picture of the final product, but maybe you can furnish us with that.It is a good, cheap, and simple method if you don't have bubble bags.
Good post. Where are your pics, man?!
Edit: Realized I have more than 5 pics, so some will be in next post.
