I still have no idea why people allow consent for cops to search their cars. Every time a cop has asked me if it was ok to search my car, I politely say no and that I am in a hurry to get wherever I am going. Usually they get upset and try to bully me into letting them but I know my rights. And in my state in order for them to search my car they must have a search warrant or CONSENT from you.
