Hey im starting a indoor grow i have a couple of questions
1 does anyone have a good soil mix that i can use
2 What spectrums of CFLs should i buy

I wouldnt know about mixing your own soil mixture but i recommend fox farm..they have some great medium.For the lights im not to sure on this since i havent had to buy cfl's oin awhile so off the top of my head im gonna say 2500k and 5000k...someone please correct me if im wrong on that but i do know the names of the lights lol just get some cool white cfl's and some warm white cfl's.You can get them pretty much anywhere that sells lights like walmart for instance.

CTT in Kelvin (K)/ Light Color/ Effect/

5000 to 8000/ Deep blue/ Encourages excellent leaf and stem growth.

4000 to 5000 / Light blue/ Encourages good leaf and
stem growth.

4000/ Neutral white/ Promotes normal growth.

3700 to 4000/ Warm neutral/ Promotes rapid growth.

3000 to 37000/ Warmer yellow neutral/ Highly active
photosynthesis for all stages of growth.

1500 to 3000/ Hot orange or red/ Promotes flowering

Like he said get the cool white lights for right now until you start to flower, I'm using CFL's as well check out my grow if you have any questions let me know

Im also using cfl's to grow as of right now untill my hps light arrives.I use my cool white and my warm white mixed together during veg and flower...just more cool white during veg and more warm white during flower.Im starting my 6th week of flowering tommorow and its doing great with the cfl's.
