I had a similar thing recently in another forum because i used the word bitch to refer to a debt collecting representative i was dealing with. After someone explained the reason I thought it was fair enough though.

I'm afraid I don't buy the its degrading to women argument. Lots of words are degrading to different people fo different reasons. I know the main antagonists, so i use them sparingly and with consideration. In a world where men are becoming ever more the the under dog, and treated with a great deal of disrespect from women I defend my right to use the C word now and again.

This just doesn't seem the place to fret over the C word. I wish for no further fret though so I'll remove it immediately from my mamory banks.

I'm still going to use the F word an that occasionally from now on, unless you tell me otherwise.

Peace and mutual respect.

EDIT: yay i got my signature! wheeeeech I'm going out to buy some beer!
AHHHHHH, different country! Just noticed.........in the states, I'll tell ya, if you walk up to a lady and use that word theres a goooood chance she'll introduce her foot to your groin.

If you could do us the favor of trying to refrain it would be appreciated and in return I'll be trying to keep on eye on the flags for country of origin. I had a discussion with LIP regarding this and he informed me that in the U.K. this word was more acceptable. It was a 0 pointer so no big deal, in fact, I'll go in and reverse it now since I think we see eye to eye.

We ARE NOT stating no swearing........just that there are some words that are directly offensive to some groups. THANK THE DEMOCRATS.......LMAO!!!

Have a good one!
Psycho4Bud Reviewed by Psycho4Bud on . Swearing/I hadn't finished... Hey, I hadn't finished what I wanted to say! What is this division between the mods and us you are trying to create? This matter is not resolved. I wish to continue with a discussion on this issue. However, I accept your rules. I wont use the C word. I don't agree with your reasons, but I will refrain from using the word in future. Rating: 5
