    BEST LIVE SHOW(MUSIC)

I've seen over 300 bands live. There are a lot of memorable shows, but the best ones were Cursive shows. Never have I seen a band so tight and communicative with each other, and there is no personality like Tim Kasher. They were better than Tool, better than Radiohead, just the most exciting performances ever, really.

    BEST LIVE SHOW(MUSIC)

There were two shows that were memorable in different ways.

First was Sonic Youth for their showmanship, and being very fan-friendly. I went with 8 people, all of us got on stage, including one who air-guitared with them for 3 minutes in the encore, and one who patted them on the back while they were playing. It was a wild show, everyone was going nuts, and Sonic Youth kept adding fuel to the fire by playing a very high-energy show.

The other was seeing Jason Lytle of Grandaddy w/ Dusty Miller. This for me, was the pilgrimage to mecca. To sum up how good it was, tears flowed down my eyes while he played a couple of songs, out of the sheer beauty of every note he played and every word he sung. I simply hope he continues to make music.
