How did you make that light fixture? I'm trying to build my own cabinet and a cfl setup like that would be great. Thanks in advance. Great grow and good luck!!!!!!!!!:rastasmoke:

Pennywisdom, the light fixure is simple to make its made of all walmart parts and requires no wiring (good for not burning houses down lol).

Heres what you need , per 4 cfl bulbs is :
--4 cfl bulbs "GE daylight 100's (6500K)" or "GE soft white 100's (2700k)",this depends on what cycle there being used for vegg or flower. Or you can mix spectrums.

--1 cheap extension cord ( like $1.25 at walmart)

--2 twin socket adapter (like $1.50ea at walmart) (you find these near the lighting section of walmart near timers, light sockets stuff like that) These look like a Y Shape , with a light socket on the end of them.

--2 Plug-in Outlet Adapter (like 1.25ea at walmart) (you find these in the same place in walmart that the twin socket adapter is in) These have a socket that accepts light bulbs that you plug into a electricity wall outlet.

Thats all ,no wiring just its just plug n play , also I got the multiple extension cords taped together with electrical tape.

Sweet! I bought I few porcelain lampholders at walmart and they are just too heavy. They also cost three bucks a pop so that saves me some money. :rastasmoke: I'm going to go pick up those plug-in outlet adapters today.

    Thanks for the advice

That's looking great for small op! And it's giving me real hope of testing my green thumb.
So do you plan on keeping them in that small of a space? If that's the case, then things really look good for me in the future. Thanks for sharing!

Oh yeah! How much of a harvest do you guesstimate you'll get?

The space there in now as you can see from the last few post is a decent sized area for a small grow ( 4.5'L X 3'W X 4.5'H ) , before this they were in a small
(1'L X 1'W X 2'H) Veg box ( you can see this in the first few post I started this thread in).

Yes the flower chamber is gonna be where they stay During there full flower the space is just about the right size for a few nice sized plants. I do plan on increaseing the amount of Cfl's soon. And possibly getting a hps for my next grow. I have 3 female plants im hoping to get atleast 2ounces. Ive got female clones going from my two best females(1 indica / 1 sativa) and I plan on making bonsai mother plants out of the clones.

    Thanks for the complements dizzy.

    You're more than welcome!
I'm really glad to of found this place (website), the more that people like yourself share, the better the people, like myself, are going to be when it's our turn to create. I didn't realize how productive a "small" space could be... it's seriously opened up a lot of possibilities in my home. Hell, even under my damn computer desk!

Funny you should mention the "bonsai" mother plant... I remember when I lived with my mom many many years ago, her "man" had a decent Op, about 150 plants that helped fund the local Hell's Angels. Really really long story short, he had a "Bonsai" mother plant. You talk about a ROUGH looking ganja granny. I would swear the diameter of the trunk was at least 3".

Didn't mean to go all reminiscing in your thread, but that's what came to mind! hehe

Yea small spaces are great for vegging , or even flowering (some people flower in pc cases lol). Like I said my veg box is only 1'x1'x1' and my flower space is
4.5'x3'x4.5' so you can get good results in small areas. I would suggest you have
2 seperate "spaces" 1 for vegging/clones/seedling and one for flowwering , that way you can have a continual harvest and get buds around every 2 months.

    Looking Good, Doctor!
I started my last grow with MG potting soil w/perlite,vermiculite, composted manure and peatmoss and I had no growth problems at all.

This grow I've changed the base potting soil to one with no added nutes but I mixed the same ingredients as before with it.
