First CFL bagseed grow
Thanks Mrs. Greenjeans dunno about fashion models , lol trying to do my best.
I hope your girls recover, and hope you can find a spot for them to have a new home.
Shovelhandle thanks for the complement ,Im fairly sure that the expert gardener soil im using is similiar to mg time released soil. Some people dont like it but its working fine for me. I eventually will move up to using fox farm ocean forest soil and organic nutes , but I needed to get my feet wet since its been years since ive grown.

Yea KL4D4, Walmart can be a cannabis grower's wonderland if your looking for cheap useful products. Im gonna eventually go to a hydro store that's about 45 minutes away from me but for now walmart is my favorite grow shop.

First CFL bagseed grow
Just a small update on how my favorite indica female is doing she's starting to look like a bush. She has got some huge leaves on her too.
My sativa female is also doing good , just didnt feel like getting her out for a photo (shes big and real bushy). My 3rd female is still finicky but im keeping her around just to see how she smokes.
How do you all think shes looking , Ive got some clones going of her at the moment (If shes good smoke I plan on keeping her around for a while).

This looks really good, thanks for sharing the log. That indica looks really bushy...I love her!
I know what you mean about far away hydro shops...sigh. Hey can you show us your clones and what technique you went with?
Again looking good!

Bree , Thx for the complements. Yea that Indica female is a nice plant , not bad at all for a bagseed, im hoping she makes nice potent buds. If so, I prolly keep her around for a long time. Maybe even do a small breeding project with her (With seeds im gonna order) Nirvanna's "AK-48 male"x"My Indica female" lol. I like her alot because she has a sweet citrusy smell with mild hits of skunk , deep green leaves and she is very hardy I dont think I could over-fertilize her , she loves all the fertilizer I throw at her and her node space is really tight.
I can just imagine How shes gonna smell flowering.
Im cloning Using a wick cloner similiar to this
Text
Simple and easy to make lol.
They (the clones) have all survived and will soon be places in 1-Liter pots in my vegg box.
I'll try and post photos of them in the cloner later tonight. Along with some more photos of my 3 other female plants. I killed the 1 male plant ( I actually felt bad for killing him R.I.P) I kept a couple of his big indica leaves to remeber him by.
Im getting anxious to flower so they will be flowered very shortly ( I wanted to make sure my clones took before I flowered).
As for posting my grow log , just trying to do my part getting people to overgrow the governments of the world.

I have to agree with everyone else - I'm impressed r00tdoctor. Your plants look very nice, period. BUT they are especially nice given the (relatively) "minimal" lighting set up.
I think "bag seed" gets a bad rap - after all, if the seeds were from some killer bud you just smoked, that is a helluva lot more "telling" than anything some seed breeding company might tell you about the plant. Unfortunately/fortunately, around here finding a seed in your baggie is INCREDIBLY rare, at least if you're buying "middle of the road" (and up) quality buds. Even the local or east coast stuff, besides the stuff from B.C., is generally bred and raised with good technique (hence, no males or hermies left in crop.)
Oh yeah, and while I like all of your plants (even the "bitch" doesn't look that bad really), obviously the Indica bush you've got going there is the real stunner. Awesome phenotype - it looks like a perfect specimen of the "indica stereotype." I hope it smokes as good as it looks - whatever the case, I'm glad to read you've kept clones, because even if you're not totally happy with the stone, you can at least take a crack at breeding it into something you DO like.

sharer6969 thx for your insight/complements on the subject. Alot of people say bagseed will produce hermie bud which isn't nesscarily true. Some growers make there own seed stock to plant outdoors and inevitably miss killing a male or two especially if they have a large outdoor crop or multiple crop locations. I know a couple of outdoor growers from around here and thats the methods they use.
The 3 Indica bagseed Plants I grew (2 females/ 1 Male) Was from an ounce of Good green. It was locally grown outdoors , there is alot of outdoor grow bud in my area considering my state has got some of the most fertile soil in the usa. Im not sure of the bagseeds lineage. The ounce I got the seeds out of only had three seeds in it. They all sprouted and the one indica female has been turning out nice.
The other seed (the sativa dom) I got out of some real good trippy chronic I smoked with a friend. It looked like it was outdoor grow also I found 2 seeds in his stash, I actaully made him let me break up the buds to look for seeds lol. Only one sprouted , it turned out to be female so I got lucky.
And about my Indica pheno now that I know more about her needs/wants I think her cloned daughter's will turn out even sexier. And by next grow I plan on having a 600watt hps light to really see what she can do. Well keep watching because the fun of flowering is gonna start soon.
Now mexican brick bagseed might be bad to use , lol. I can get quarter pounds of that for $225 a little seedy but decent looking, not something I would want to take the time to grow though. (Mexi sativas can get huge)

First CFL bagseed grow
Ok, I had to update my avatar with a new pic of my favorite Indica lol.
Heres a couple pics of my Sativa and Indica bushes. The sativa plant has minor burned tips on some of her fan leaves because a few days ago I accedently gave her too much fert , I thought I poured the fert in my water container but I poured it into a container that alreasy had fert in it oops! (I was high at the time, mental note: messing with plant food and smoking chronic dosent mix), I noticed the mistake before I gave it to my indica plant , I gave the sativa a mild flush and shes fine and healthy besides the minor burn, Seems it made her get even more bushy too. They have out grew there containers again , I think tonight ill move them up to 3-5 gallon ones , so that means a trip to walmart.
I didnt realise how big n bushy the sativa was until I took them out of the closet for photos, shes got 1000 leaves I think. Shes "big", but its a bushy sort of big , not a streched sort of big. Alot of sativa plants I see on here are more of a tall strechy sort of big. And shes is this bushy and I havent even topped her or anything.
I will post photo's of my little wick cloner later tonight.
Here you girls / guys go:
