    LATEWOOD...A lighting question

a 250watt hps should yield under proper conditions 5-8 ounces of herb growing possible 4-6 plants, as for a single plant with enough veg time i dont see why you couldnt get the 5 ounce mark.

Also i have read alot of threads and watched alot of grow logs and ive seen plants wit a 400 watt hps not even get 5 ounces a plant...so i shouldnt get that much wit a 250 watt hps

thats because they dont have thier stuff fine tuned, lots of reasons why that may happen but its normally the growers fault, i use 2x150watt lights and should get by the looks of things 3-4oz of dried herb.

a 250watt bulb has better penetration than my 150watt so if i can get 3-4oz with them you can get 5oz from a 250 with practice, ive seen a 8 ounce harvest with a 250 so its possible.
