Seed Breeding Q's for ppl. W/ exp.
Hey everybody ,
Last grow Crispi happend to find about 15 male flowers on 1 of 3 Feminised Blueberry plants . Once male flowers were almost popin open we used a q-tip and pollenated a few female flowers & marked them w/ bag ties . All plants being feminised , i took pollen from the 1 plant that was hermie and pollenated a dif. plant that wasn't showing hermie traits .
1- Will these new seeds also be feminised ?
2- Will the new offspring tend to wanna be hermies ?
3- Did i lessen the chances of hermies by pollenating a dif. plant verses the 1 that act. produced the male flowers to begin w/ .
4- Are these new seeds known as F2's ?
Thanks ahead for all answers -n- help .
Peace all

did they herm naturally? (shudder)
Did the breeder use chemicals or light cycle?
How much stress did the plants have to be exposed to before they went hermi?
That last Q is the most important IMHO. That propensity to herm is a heritable trait.

Hey Stinky ,
The beans came from D/P in an unopend breeders pk. i have no clue how they produce them . The 1 plant herm'd nat. i think ? This was about the most stress free grow i've done in hydro yet . After giving those ppl. 144.00 for 10 beans . I figured it'd be kinda stupid not to try to take advantage of the situation . I myself won't be trying to use them in the near future you know that . lol . But the new offspring are up and going for others already here on site . I was curious what to expect .
I crossed the fem. blueberry to a fem. nycd/cottoncandy x sage too just for kicks ?
I already got a new bean ord. from G.S.A -n- have a beter part of stuff for clone cabinet .
Thanx Sis

Lil cab was only 40 bucks . I plan on a couple P/C fans run off a old poo poo 12v power supply soon too for ventalation .

What a nice devilish pit
do his eyes really look pink like that?
Bluntman420 was trying to explain to me last night how hermies make feminized seeds so I spent the sleepless night reading up on it, it'll be interesting to see how your offspring turn out if you decide to give them a chance at life, maybe put a couple out side randomlyI've never had blueberry before, but when I finally do I'll be able to die a happy man.
