New to board and to Washington

I'm moving from Fl. to the Everett Washington area in March, and having a hard time finding an apartment. I got turned down from one for having a few possession of marijuana charges on my record. Anyone know of places that wont do a background a check. Thanks.

Your best bet is to go to small landlords, that is the owner(s) themselves. Any property management firm will AT LEAST run a credit check on you.

Don't move to Everett dude. lol..Actually some of my best friends live in Everett but the traffic around that area is sooooo bad. If you use craigslist.com thats a great way to find housing.

I have a strong distaste for Everett. It does have some diversity, but not the most profound. Traffic is definitely worse there. It kind of smells. but they have some head shops that are closer to me than most (i'm in Kirkland). Seattle area's outrageous; lots of diversity but it's rigidly divided in an economic and ethnic sense.

No offense intended but I wouldn't live in Everett if you paid me. There are sooo many way cooler placer around. The best thing I can say about Everett is the have a nice new place to see concerts.
