okay so there is this girl I like at school. I have never met her (I've talked to her once though a while ago) but we are always smiling at each other in the halls. I kinda like this girl, but we have NO mutual friends. Would it be creepy if one day I approached her at her locker and asked her if she wanted to come to my place and rent a movie?? I'd invite her out to the movie theatre but loser me I have no car, and neither does she, and telling a girl to meet you on the Number 6 Bus on your first date is kinda really lame. so do you think this plan could fly considering at the time I'd be asking her we'd have said maybe 3 words to each other previously??

ps i know I should small talk her a bit before asking her but I really have no idea how to move from small talk to a question like that so asking her almost flat out is my only real idea

That might be a little too much if you dont know her, I would stop by for meaningless convo, just ask her what class she has and offer to walk with her. Ask her about homework or something, and ask her for a study date at your house and then watch a movie, its a little more easier asking for homework help than asking a date

instead of going to a movie, try just sitting on a bus and talking ot each other for a lil bit. wont look lame, and if you two will work out, youll know right there. if not, youll look like a cheap jackass. but if you think it will work, do it.
