hello! im back from bannsville, and that succulent has grown, its an *epiphyte or 'air plant' which means it recieves its moisture and nutrients from the air, by utilizing its roots, which are also above ground, anyway, i got a feeling this little fella wants to flower soon, so i thought id show you its progress so far,

i will get better pics soon, its much bigger than it was when i got it

*'An epiphyte is any plant that grows upon or attached to another living plant. The term is from the Greek epi- (meaning 'upon') and phyton (meaning 'plant'). These plants are sometimes called "air plants" because they do not root in soil.'

That little guy is awsome! I've had several air plants, but have had little success. My animals get into them....sigh. Did you find what air plant it is? Or will we be surpirsed when it flowers?

Thanks for sharing AB, Bree
