:( I feel so bad now
I just broke a pipe for the first time in my life, and I feel so bad about it. At least it was my own pipe, and not someone elses, and I have many more, but this pipe was the first glass pipe I ever bought, and now it is dead
sigh...

That's exactly why I stick to metal pipes.

I only use glass, it's not as durable, but it's worth it. I know how you feel Dr.Z, every time I've lost a piece it's been like loosing a smoking buddy. I mean, I had this awesome glass bowl once, it was my first good glass pipe. I gave it the name "Smokey Potter" and that's where my username comes from
It's just sucked when It broke, but yeah, I always imagine all the lost paraphernalia of the world going to some kind of afterlife where we'll meet up and smoke again.
Just my stoned thoughts.

I had a beautiful bong named Betsy. She was all glass, and the glass part twisted around to the top. She was classy and beautiful. We shared so many lovely memories together. Whenever we'd get together, Betsy would have to be there. She was a permanent member of our group. That's why it was so devastating when she broke
I'm still in mourning.

Yes, i too feel a "kinship" to certain pipes. The one that comes to mind is this wooden tobacco pipe thats about 150 yrs old that belongs to my brother in law. There was just something so familiar like we had met before? The first time i smoked it i touched it to my face when it was still warm and i got this feeling like a sensation of something embracing me...?
Just more thoughts from a cannabis enthusiast

I HATE when pieces break!!! On Sunday night my brother-in-law broke our glass bong we sent to his house for easy smoking (we can't keep it at home or with the rest of the collection). *sigh* that's alright though because the bong wasn't "ration-friendly".

I bought a glass spoon for 25 buckaroos and an Xbox controller knocked it over when I grabbed it. I laughed my ass off but I miss it now.

The destruction of your first glass pipe is a rite for any pothead. Take life as it is, cherish the sweet memories for a second and get a new even better glass piece
Happiness only real when shared
