Lowryder, cardboard box grow

ok, i have one lowryder thats been growing for about a month, its in a cardboard box walled in tinfoil, one 150w cfl with relector, and soil that i digged up outside in the woods. Pictures will be taken tommorw.

its on no ferts, what do you recomend?

Getting that tinfoil out of your box, buy an emergency blanket from wal-mart camping section, will reflect much more light, and not reflect the heat as much.

will do, im going to have to make a trip to walmart soon, i need more cfls and i will pick up the emrg. blanket if they have it!

They have them, they are in the camping section, if your walmart employees are any thing like mine, they will stare you down, when your buying a shit load of light bulbs, a timer, and an emergency blanket.

lol, i will go next week..lol...but i will have pictures up tommorw afternoon, i need to know if im going to need ferts or anything else, its already got the one main cola that it produces and i can visibly see the thc all over it, but i want to make sure it gets a fair yeild and potency level.

Few things from a first time grower as well.

I used regular potting soil... Boooooo...

I learned that your medium is important.

I see alot of peoples mistakes because they don't follow precisely what the big bad growers here reccomend.

They get yellowing, drooping, spotting, death, and worse.. Caught..

the cfls imo are great. Low heat, Low energy. Low Cost. Get em =D.
You should follow Bodom and make a box. I did its Grrrrreat! Just finished my air scrubber today and the smell is GONE.

So.... just suggesting all this, but get yourself some good organic soil, you can make your own if you like but after grabbing all the ingredients in my basket I walked by a large colorful bag at OSH that said organic something or other, and contained EVERY ingredient I was buying.... So.... instead of paying about 30 bucks I paid 8.90 + tax and bought the mix and some extra worm castings. Which they also sell there. Next to the Verm and such.

After your baby gets large enough you should transplant it into that good soil.

Its the golden rule... Start with shit, end with shit.

So bro... please for Mary's sake, start with some good earthworm shit.. =D

Otherwise you can leave it in the dirt and give it some nutes but you never know where that dirts been hehe..

Don't worry, the legendary BOG used to grow his monsters in sam's choice (hahaha walmart schwaggy brand) potting soil amended with blood meal, bone meal, and lime, all of which you can buy at walmart.

It can be done.

If you buy yourself one thing, it should be a bottle of liquid pH tester. That will make your life SOOOO much easier.

i will make a trip to home depot and find some soil . also, my lowryder is in soil dug up from the ground, and it is almost ready for harvest soon, but i dont really know when to harvest it, i have heard the method zandor posted but i have no 10x magnifiying glass for looking to see if the thc is cloudy or clear, it had white hairs and a few of them have already turnd oragne but not all of them, its got alot of thc on it by the way. its very small thoguh, im guessing about 3 inches. it has no nutrinets in it, but im going to home depot hopefully next week and need some fert suggestions.

also i have no clue how long its been growing, but im going to gues a month but im not sure.
