As in the snow is sort of leaving and (thank God) it isn't that cold lol. How is it every where else? Rating: 5

The snow was just about to melt and then bam it hits, it got all snowy today. That was unexpected..

the weather here has become a bit changeable of late. this time of year is usually rather pleasant with a layer of ice only 150 feet thick and the occasional fire storm or methane explosion to spice things up. this year the ice seems to have been replaced with a layer of gaseous mercury with pockets of cherry flavored cough drops. it has been raining toads for the better part of the last three weeks and large areas of total vacuum have appeared, seemingly out of nowhere. our average temperature in these parts usually ranges between -20 to around 143 in the shade, but this year we seem to be bearing the brunt of a large storm system and the temp hasn't gone below 240 in weeks.

well, it's just started raining frozen body parts so i had best go and make sure that all the windows are closed. ta.

Screw the cold weather, I live in sunny Southern California and ride motorcycles year round. Yesterday it was 70º and sunny. Today will be rain but it only rains once in a while, I can deal with that.
Not like when I grew up on Long Island and had to walk to school up hill in both directions in the driving rains, snows and hails.
My memories of New York are all wet and bad weather memories, I hated it there and am glad to be gone. The sun did shine once in a while but not enough to make me stay, not like here in So Cal.

haha, California isn't all about good weather. Don't forget about the traffic, pollution, too many people, and having to dodge mattresses on the freeway. HAHA :thumbsup:

Looks like at least 18 inches! I ain't going nowhere today! I think my big paper-bark birch tree has broken- can't be sure. The highway is silent! It's a day for Granny's home-made soup, fer sure! Wood stove is all fired up and the hubby got a big load of wood in yesterday (he's a sweetie). And the snow just keeps on falling!- Granny:hippy:

We had a bit of snow here, maybe 5-6 inches with some ice a week ago, and it's still hanging around. Went sledding last night with the dog, that was fun.

But it's getting mushy right now, it almost reached 60 yesterday.

Weird, in the beginning of winter and well into January, we had days of 60-70 degree weather. All of a sudden in February, temps dropped to normal winter time temperatures. And we got some snow. Weird.

I CANNOT WAIT FOR SUMMER.

hell ya, i cant wait to stop wearing this stupid wetsuit, the beach is cold right now. burrrrrrrrr
