    well...

I'd get the psp, but grab one off of craigslist. Try to get fw 3.02 or lower. I'm not sure what the new ones are comming out as now, but I've seen psps for like $100 on CL that could be downgraded in a snap.

i know for sure i'm getting the ps3... i don't really need or want a psp so much.. but it'd be nice to have something to do besides twiddle my thumbs when at the laundromat or doctor's waiting rooms and what not..

well if you are blowing all the money you are getting right away it isnt a shock to me that youre poor. at least itll make the time pass quicker at the laundromat. a smart thing to do would be buy a washer and dryer, itll save you money in the long run and you wont need to get a psp. well i could go on but i think you are fully aware you have trouble holding on to money so im not going to rub it in any further.

if you read up a bit.. it would cost thousands to get a washer here (we have a dryer) there's soemthing all fucked up with the drainage system... and i don't just mean some little clog that a snake could take care of... it would consist of having to have someone come in and replace all the piping for that particular portion... then i'd have to buy a washer..

oh and i'm not poor cuz i can't hold onto money... the problem is i never get money, not that i cna't hold on to it... if i had a steady stream of money.. i'd probably have no problem saving it, cuz it wouldn't be something new to me anymore..

oh and why is everyone saying something like i'm going to blow all my money ona ps3 and psp? lol... the two of them together is less than 1k.. i'm goign to have 6k...

He was just pointing out that you'd be buying $1,000 worth of useless electronics rather than putting it to good use.

It's you're money though, so do what you will.

And you say you never have money...well, now you do. I'd use this as a chance to make your life better. That could mean getting a ps3 and psp to keep you occupied at home, I dunno...

Anyways, congrats on the money, and DON'T spend it all at once. LOL though I think it'll be gone in two weeks tops.

    well...

i doubt it'll be gone in 2 weeks.. as i was sitting here thinking... other than the ps3 and the rest of things i was going to get when i knew i was getting 2,800... was pretty much all i wanted to begin with...

so there's still another 3k... and no desire to really get anything particular... i'll probably end up sticking it in the bank and just draw it out when/if we need to...

    Congratulations.

Buy a 400 Watt light and some nice pot seeds and grow your own.

    Just a thought.

I would suggest, buying into a risker stock you feel may make you some money.

2,000 bucks sounds like a good amount to invest in something you believe may make you a profit. Start reading up on that kind of stuff if you are interessted. I have always wanted to invest some money into a slightly risky stock, but have never had enough money to do it.

You could lose the 2,000, but than again you could come out with 10,000. I haven't been paying attention to any of it lately, so I would not even be able to suggest one, but their are a lot of good sites to point you in the right direction.
