i always wondered why people who use med marijuana for pain dont use something like vicodin or valium or oxy.

its not that i dont support it i just think its odd...that...smoking weed....

i dont know how to get my point across...

weed possibly impairs ability to use machinery but so do opioid related pain pills...why use weed when the law isnt going to be as hard on you if you produced a presciption to pills as opposed to a presciption for med marijuana..

i can see how marijuana may have ground breaking effects in terms of appetite stimulation and anxiety relief...but arent there pills for that..?

i support recreational use AND medical use of marijuana smoking and marinol pill taking its just i cant help but sit and wonder sometimes if people just get off with their long term use of marijuana and finally have a medical paper that says they are allowed to do it to kinda say 'sweet' in their heads...
being allowed to do it based on a presciption...doing this thing they probably did for years anyway recreationally....when there are pills to combat the ailments they take the medical marijuana to get rid of...

i might be off base...my thoughts are kinda all over the place on this but..

i think most marijuana users are rec users..and a tiny percentage are medical users...and then there are a few people i know who are 'illegal' rec users who Say they are using it medicinally or even refer to their buds as medicine...

i want to point out i support medical and recreational use just wanted to share some thoughts i had about using it medicinally.
