Dug out loading problem

I'm not entirely sure how one loads a dug out. I mean, I know you put some weed in the larger compartment, and press down upon that weed with the "bat", and supposedly the weed is magically trapped in the bat's chamber. Well, that hasn't been the case for me as of yet.

I don't know if it's that I'm not pushing down hard enough, or that I need to perform another action or what. Oh, also, should the weed be ground up? Pulled apart?

a twisting / scraping method works best for me takes time / experience / practice. and fuck yes its gottta be broken up well like put threw a little pepper grinder then packed into the dugout try tampin it down with the mouthpiece of the dug out when ya fill it up

a hitter box or dug out is just a small box w/ a one hitter in it that stores your weed and the little pipe in it.
