You guys ever feel like this when getting high?

Arright, so up until like last summerish anytime I got high it was all good you know, regular high, trip out, what not. But recently, every time I smoke I feel like theres a feeling in my chest as if my heart is slowing down or I get the feeling like I cant breathe. It's weird I never used to get it before, it's almost like anxiety or something but I never get anxiety. And it totally fucks up my high 'cause I start tripping like I cant breathe or I cant swallow any of my saliva. Hella weird. Anyone ever feel like this or got some sort of explanation for this weird feeling I experience?

Yeah I feel like that a lot of the time. But it's only because I focus my attention on my breathing and then I start thinking that I can only breath if I keep telling myself too.

And the saliva happens too, but a nice glass of water gets rid of that.


Just relax man and don't think about it if that shit starts up.

Yeahh I noticed I start focusing on my breathing too, it weird, kind of annoying. I think it might be from the cigarettes though.

nAH i dont think it has to do a whole lot with the bud, its probably more mental they u give credit. Its like if u tell some one to breath, they will manually breath for however long it takes them to forget and they start up doing it automatically. Kinda the same thing, you think your breathing is slowing down but it really isnt, unless your running yourself out of breath u should just continue to breath normal, even if it feels heavier. Coughing doesnt help either, just try not to think about it, put the tv on or something divert your attention.

I know how you feel man. One of my friends told me (years ago) that your eyes get red when you smoke you're because you don't blink, so I would sit there for hours trying to figure out if I was blinking or not. I think it's all in your head because people tend to blow things out of proportion when they're high. Just eat something to get your mind off your problems.
