whenever before flowering, but give it some time to recover. Cut off one branch including several sets of leaves. I am not sure about jell.

take cuttings atleast a week before flowering so to give it time to recover, clonex is a good rooting hormone gel,use healthy branches for cuttings,i take from the middle of the stem, cut at 45 degree angle and straight into the rooting gel, remembering to cut the bottom set of leaves off close to the nodes and make sure there under the rockwool surface or soil surface, will you be rooting the cuttings in rockwool or soil??

i grow in soil myself although i bought rockwool when i decided i was gonna try cloning as the rockwools gotta be cleaner for the new roots to start off in before planting your cuttings into soil.you can place the rockwool with your well rooted clone ( takes between 10-12 days) straight into the soil.
buy yourself some of these germination sized cubes for 10p each to start your clones in a humidity dome then pop them in the soil once the roots are visible, mist the inside of the humidity dome regularly with water

You can take a clone from each plant and move those away from your main plants and have your clones (once rooted) flower.
You might want to label the pots of your plants, take the clones and label those accordingly, so you can see what sex it is (by flowering the clone) before you flower you big plants, allowing you to remove the males.

When i cloned my plant, I waited till It showed signs of it being a female, took about 1 1/2 weeks into flowering, then I cloned it. clones took 7-10 days to root. I only took six clones and It didn't seem to stress out the plant at all.
