Breaking Up sucks!!!

Hi all...

Sorry to bother all of you with this, but i have to get it off my chest...My girlfriend broke up with me three days ago and it sucks...I've gotten over the shock and most of the intense heartache, but now I keep running scenarios and stuff through my head about how I could have treated her better so that she wouldn't have broken up with me etc...

The thing that really is helping me get over it all is the fact that if I take the last two years (we've were together for the last 9 months) I feel i have had more fun when I was single that when I was going out with her...not to be mean to her or anything...it's just that I had a lot more freedom when I was single...

So i keep wondering if it is even worth looking for another chick in the neatr future, cos the way i feel now it is that the whole dating thing is pretty much a waste of time and that I'm not actually meant to be with someone...

So I wanna know from all you how you feel about the subject of dating and if you have a life partner already what exactly is it that keeps you together...

PS: Her reason for breaking up was that she needs to be alone (meaning single) to sort out some issues she's got...

I always try to learn from the past instead of dwelling on it because dwelling doesnt do anything for you except get you down. You cant change the past, but you can change the future. There is someone out there for everyone. Look at how many people get married. Most of the people that dont get married have some kind of issue. The only way to find that right person is to date girls that you are interested in. Just let life take its course. Ive never been in a real relationship....and im 20, kinda pathetic. oh well im kinda shy. I met this girl recently that i really like and im trying to take her out but she is playin hard to get. I know that i will eventually get her out cause i know she likes me too. I plan on getting married some day. Mabe this is the girl that im goin 2 marry. Probably not but you never know. Im sure you have heard before that when you meet the right one you will know. I dont really understand that, but i think that if a guy and a girl love eachother the same, they have a more unique bond than if the guy loved her more than she loved him. I dont know, im just high right now and my mind is racing.

my girlfriend dumped me this summer after being with her for 3 years. Right away I applied for a doorman position at a local strip club. I now work with beautiful naked girls 40 hours a week. I'm makin' really good money. The club gives me a free beer each shift. And did I mention I work with beautiful naked girls. So the moral to this story is when your girlfriend dumps you, get a job at a strip club. Best cure ever.
