light leek how muc is to much
ok well when i step in the flower room theres very little light, but still noticable. There is no direct like being let in but materials that have some transparency, the only lights effecting the room are 6 2' fluoro tubes about 12,000 lumens, now the amount that gets into the flower room seems like barely any but its still getting in, cant really see anything but i can see shadows, just makin sure i dont harm my flowering babe. i know there is a lumen rating for the moon like 2,000 lumens or something thats like a single fluoro tube on in direct light, anyone have some good advice other then seal it up, i mean i feel like there is no affect on the plant what so ever.

ok well maybe not 2000 lumens the more i look into the moon really has about .03 lumens a square foot wow was i off. and the sun is 10,000 lumens a square foot, so im thinkin if all the light is blocked and only coming in at crack on the ceiling and it just as dark out side during a full moon i should be ok, as long as there is no direct light on the plants.

Jack, my hydro hut has some pinholes they remind me of stars in the sky. But not enough to put out any kind of light. I wouldnt know if I was standing 1 inch from the wall.

a small amount of light during the night cycle will not be that bad, it simulates the moon. But more dank pot grows in absolute darkness. As in, pitched black

I have read that plants respond to .007 lumens of light. The brightest night with a full full moon can get is .003. So think about how dark your room needs to be. I grew up in the boonies, so I know what dark really is, and if you have small light leaks, as long as it isn't strong light rays, it will be fine. I (may or may not) grow in a closet, all I do is keep the cracks double taped. You can still see a light glow of the tape, but if I look down, I am unable to see my hands. If you can look down and see your hands, its too light. I have always had a normal/acceptable male:female ratio.
