Hey, I thought I'd let you know you can get a ph test kit for swimming pools at wally world....Just dip the stick kind, no mixing water, and cheap (9.00 for 100 tests).

I don't have personal experience about that one weedhound since I was always a pond girl, but the back of my ph kit says: Min 7.2, Ideal 7.5, Max 7.8. That's for spas too.
