i'm definitely wondering about the drainage... usually alot the excess salts and ickies tha Mrs GJ so ACCURATELY describes get drained out with the excess water through the drain holes. I'm wondering if all that stuff is sitting in the bottom of your pots....burning the older roots. Mrs GJ, you're kind of a sneaky little sharp one.
