9 nodes in 4 inches and 50 days

Growing better? But this is the tightest node spacing I've ever had on any of my plants hehe. It had gotten the same treatment as the other plants in its group - for some reason it never went "up".. I spose the light could have been too close and stunted it, but that seems wierd. Anyhoo, It has been xplanted for about 2 weeks now, as soon as I get some space in the bloomroom Ill throw it in there and see if its a she

Not only did it flower, but its a she!
And she has exploded in the last 3 weeks, you'd hardly think this is the same plant... Check out the killer sativa-ish leaves she has, and nice almost symmetrical (sp?) bud structure.

This seed could be very old - unfortunately I don't remember where I got it. It was popped along with some Oaxacan Sativa and ~ 10 unknowns, from old seeds I had.. It does not appear to be growing like my Oaxacans are, this one has much more side branching, and colors are different - so I don't believe its a rogue from that batch.

Could be 20+ years old (which might explain the slow start), as I saved some seeds from in high school of some really bizarre stuff from the 1980's, some really good red/brown weed from mexico, thai sticks, humboldt buds. I never labeled or even stored them properly - In little bindels inside film containers with notes like "Killer Red from scott", "gregs thai sticks" - I don't even remember which Scott, much less the year lol. I have been trying without much luck to "carbon date them" by identifying the items found near them in the boxes - ticket stubs, coins - like an archaeological dig or something. I found a bunch of them when I moved recently, but have had very little success in germing most of them.

Nice looking miracle plant you have there. You'll have to update regularly so we can see how she finishes. Good luck and happy growing.

Cool, keep us updated. I myself have some seeds someone saved from awhile ago that I've had trouble germinating. Out of 11 seeds, I've only got 4 to sprout !

    I'm watching! Bree

Tokudai I had a similar issue with a plant very recently on my first grow...it actually had such tight nodes that they grew all messed up intertwined with each other...it was a male so I killed it but at a foot tall it had like 20 nodes and the light was pretty far away...Personally about 3/4 to 1 inch is ideal cause otherwise the bud doesn't seem to develop as well...you are probably right though about crossing it with a particularly tall sparsly noded sativa...
