How much is enough?..

How many CFL's or 3' flourescent tubes will I need to start up 7-10 seeds??
I just want to get them good and ready for spring/summer. Gonna be transplanting them outside and possibly cloning first. I have 7 or 8 of those 45w flourescent coil lights from wal-mart, and 2 adjustable flourescent light stands.(3ft) What do i need to have my plants good and hardy for the transplant outdoors?? Germinating seeds now, so let me know and thanks in advance.

It sounds like you have enough light, the question will be how it all comes together, in your space, if you can get an equal enough amount of light spread across all the babys. But, if you plan on getting them 10+inchs, I dont think you have enough light at all.

Will i really need all the lights for 7-10 seeds?? Maybe i will have to concentrate on 1-3 plants at a time instead...
