Vegetables?

Purple Banana Reviewed by Purple Banana on 02-20-2007. Vegetables? What actually constitutes a vegetable? I heard it was not having seeds. Just the taste can't make it a veggie, nor the pH, because that's innacurate. Vegetable is like "vegetative matter" which is like leaves, roots, and stuff like that. I think that's where they're headed. Fruits, like the byproduct of reproduction, are like seeds, berries, and large fruits like apples or watermelons, or even corn. So what do you think? Are you outraged? Do you prefer one to the other? Rating: 5

I always thought fruits had "seeds on the inside". Vegetables don't - celery, lettuce, broccoli etc. But to say vegetables don't have seeds is patently ridiculous.

exactly, fruit has seeds on the inside....cucumbers/tomatoes/avocados=fruit.
