Regardsless of whether any of its true or not though, we could at least fucking try to make things a bit better. There's a lot of room for improvement....
Anyone heard of the scientific claim that the greenhouse effetct is a crock of shit because the world started to become warmer before CO2 levels started to rise. Some sceptic scientist was on the radio talking about recently when i last visited the UK, but i was too busy pondering the downside of being merrily pissed on a few pints of english bitter whilst at the same time not having a bit of hash to line my pipe to pay full attention. Surely there must be some room for scientific error, both random and systematic. It could be a coincidence that the temperature rose a bit, naturally, before the greenhouse effect kicked in.
By the way I am from Scotlant, but i love english beer.

Al Gore: Global Hypocricy
I watched an actor being interviewed on TV last night regarding this. He uses $600 per year in energy which is needed over his solar power, rides bike as much as possible and flys commercial. SOMEONE that practices what they preach.......very ritious if ya ask me! THAT is the type of person they need for the Global Warming crusade, not a hypocrit.
Have a good one!:s4:

Did anyone do a fact check on this report or do you think its true because sum1 made up a fake company that had gores electric bill handy the day after he won the oscur... as i have read what gore uses, he does have SOLAR PANELS.... Dont let the right-wing(i mean p4b) take y'all for a spin...
(Think Progress
– In his private life, Gore tries to reduce his emissions as much as possible. He drives a hybrid, flies commercially whenever he can, and purchases green power. In the few instances where work has demanded that he travel privately, he purchases carbon offsets for the emissions.
And according to a report filed this afternoon on Fox News (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,255203,00.html):
Al Gore's office is responding to criticism over his energy consumption at his Nashville mansion by saying the former vice president is signed up for a program to consume 100 percent green power — has installed solar panels and uses compact fluorescent bulbs.

gore is a hypocrite, i dont think this changes anything about inconvenient truth. and somewhat to the point i have been looking at these political forums lately and i think it is funny that bong30 calls people who believe in conspiricies tin foil hat types, then in a seperate post he says global warming is bullshit propaganda made up by liberals for votes. to me that screams conspiracy. pretty damn funny. gore is a hypcrite and a dull boring asshole, but global warming is still real, i am going to take the word of thousands of respectable scientists over a few scientists and people who think the liberals are out to control peoples minds, that is my opinion on it.

I don't think it's as easy as just wondering if this is a man made phenomena or if it's natural. That's not the point. The point in my understanding is that we've never had so many immobile civilizations so close to the water, that moving them isn't an easy option, let alone all the money that might be lost if the polar ice caps shrink enough.
We have to assess whether we want to relocate all these people, or do something about the climate, man made or natural.

Global warming has many effects, like colder winters in certain parts of the world. How about tornados in february, thats a new deal. We can poo-paw it all we want but it is here and it will not get better by it's self. Can we stop it, I doubt man has the will to curtail his life style untill he is forced to. All you nay sayers might want to help your children move to higher ground before you pass on If you live on the coast. Do I know what will happen, Hell no, I live at 2600 ft. altitude, I doubt it will affect me, but you guys in Laguna beach and costal california might want to think about flood insurance. It will probably not happen in our lifetimes, but in a couple a hundred years, who knows.
