    Getting on track...

So, first of all, Happy Monday to youse.

Do you ever feel like you would love to be Caught Up with all of the nonsense in life? Getting your bills all paid and FILED? Getting your car washed? Cleaning your apartment/home )including putting away all the things that were meant to go in storage, but haven't for months). Get a schedule for going to the gym? Posting updates in your grow log?

Do you notice that you're unable to fully relax in your time off when you have these things hanging over your head?

I'm trying to start off this week on a good foot. I've got lotsa work I gotta get done and lotsa goals I've set that I want to work on. I'm going to try to get them done systematically. I've figured that in a couple weeks, if I'm diligent, I can get to a point where I can REALLY relax when I have time off.

Here are a list of things I want to get done:

1 - Stop smoking cigs - I know I tried this at the beginning of the year, but I've been unsucessful up until now. Once I get into the gym on a regular basis, this should be easier.

2 - Get into the gym - I've been paying for the damn membership forever, and I haven't used it in months and months. I used to be on a schedule but it's gone to shit ever since I hurt my shoulder last year and have gotten so busy with work. I hope to lose at least 15 pounds over the next month or two.

3 - Catch up on my grow thread - I've got some cool pics and another whole chapter in the JOURNAL OF A MADMAN, so I'd like to start posting that, along with several videos I have in the making.

4 - Finish the book I'm reading - That is all. It's a good book. Need to finish it.

5 - Wash my car - It's filthy. That's one thing about driving so much, and being a smoker. I just want to go trade it in and get another one. I've had it for 4 years...so time to get a new one. Not sure if I'll go NEW or slightly used.

6 - Catch up on bills - I recently did a good deal of work on my files and cleaned out a bunch of garbage. I've got a little left, but working on it. It's going good.

7 - Menu - I'd like to plan my meals better so I can eat cheaper & healthier. Fast food is killing me...literally.

Ok, that's about it. I feel that if I can get THAT stuff done, I will be on track to having a stress-free life and I will be able to keep up with the systems I've set up. This way, there is just a little work daily to keep everything in order, and no stress. More time to focus on family & friends. No more guilt for relaxing when the car needs to be washed and boxes need to be unpacked.

Now, mostly, this is a way that I can commit to those goals I've set. Since it's up on the web, now I have to follow through with these goals...or be forever embarrased. lol...

Now, I'm not sure how much any of you care, but that is why I posted it. Also, I'd like to hear what things YOU guys have to catch up with? Do you have the same feelings I do when you're behind? Are you a semi-perfectionist like myself?

Ok, this post is long enuff. Now your turn.

P.S. I'm eating a Chimichanga...is that bad for my health? Maybe I should only eat half? BUT ITS SOOOO goood!

Haha, Podge...well, at least you know what I'm talking about.

I would have a HORRIBLE time trying to get up in the AM to run or exercise. Any time I exercise, it has to be at night. But a routine would be good.

Reading...I know what you mean. I have a hard time reading for any long period of time. Try doing 15 minute intervals...?

Taking care of your money? Well, I'm not even going to start on that because I could type a 15 page post on the stuff I've learned about that...but I still end up spending some of my $$ on useless crap. Luckily, I make enough to cover most of it.

Keeping room tidy...I'd say...take one day, clean everything. Top to bottom. Find or make a place for everything. Then maintain. Don't throw your clothes on the floor (it just takes a few extra seconds to fold it or put it in the clothes basket). Put your keys and change etc in a bowl or on the same place in your room everytime so you don't have to look for them. My gf turned me onto the invention of a KEY HOOK. Shit works wonders.

And lastly, put all your weed and paraphenalia in one box/place. Not only is it cluttery to have it laying around, but much more dangerous to your livelihood.

Try it out man...keep us posted.

I wish I had TIME to meet new people...but I thoroughly enjoy the relationships I've made on here! Just close enough so we can talk, but not so close that I can't go away for a week without clinginess. Lol.

    Go clean your room, pimpin'.

Girls are tough. Shallowness is hard to deal with. I feel you on that but I can't elaborate. Not now at least. Good luck with that, dude.

Paintball rules. I'd love to get back into doing a bunch of things (sports) that I used to do, first and foremost, I'd love to go snowboarding again SOON! I hope I can find time. Adrenaline rocks! I wanna take out someone's Adrenal gland and suck on it! hehehe

Good luck with your ride, man. You sound like my brother.

the reading isnt really too much of a problem
once i get into a book as good as 'Monster' or 'Redemption'
i cant put it down, i just need a good hour with the book

as for the bedroom, i share it with my brother
every time i clean it i say to myself that im gonna keep it tidy
    but it never happens

the running i used to do it every day for about 3 months
that was good for me, i need to loose weight too
im also gonna start doing my weights too

for my money il just make a spreadsheet on exel
count up all my money n budget things
i might turn into a weekend smoker cos thats all i can afford

thanks for the tips too mate
    they should help me

my entire life has been one long leisurely scramble to take care of all the daily necessities. after living this way for so long i wouldn't know how to do it any other way. i've never understood folks who believe in that "place for everything and everything in its place" way of life, the chaos is half the fun. often i find that if i clear out one room the next become twice as much of a chore and that no, everything does not have a place and even if it did it probably wouldn't fit there. well; i'm off to work, leaving behind the jumble of my personal life and heading into me confusion of my business. wish me luck or don't, i'll continue with the fun either way.
