i dont know who i am.. i dont know what i stand for, what i appreciate, what i love, who i like, who i understand, i cant even understand myself. i cant decide on anything, because i dont know what i like or appreciate, i cant love anything if i dont know i even like it myself..
i dont know if this makes sense, i hope it does.. i really need to know what i need to do to find myself, i need to know my inner person, i need to know what i stand for, who i stand for and what kind of life im living...
i relized last night im shallow, and i hate that, i always say dont judge a book by its cover but i dont follow my own saying..
i feel insecure about a lot of things i guess, i feel insecure about life itself. i try to not think about it and just live, but it bugs me to this very day. i want to just know who i am and what i enjoy, like i said i can never make up my mind, its always an indecisive outlook. i wanna change, i want to start over with my life, my friends, my surroundings, but i know i cant...

You're turning to us for what? So that we can change you? Make you deep? Tell you what to think and feel?

If you've recognised that there's a problem you just have to choose how to fix it. You don't need somebody else's advice on what they'd do.

I shouldn't even be telling you all this... but...

It sounds like you're just a little lost (personally). thats cool, I'm confident you'll move through it in time. If you want to speed the process up, I'd suggest finding something you're sure is worthwhile, it might be school, it might be greenpeace, it might be global human rights, it might be just getting better at the guitar or something; find something dedicate yourself to it.

im not asking you to tell me what i like and dont like.. but you are right, i am lost, im just asking to anyone else who has been lost, how did you deal with it?

I've gone through periods of the same feeling. Exactly the same actually. I can never make up my mind about things (especially relationship-wise). I also have questioned what makes me happy in life. Its a hard prediciment to be in because of that feeling of being lost. I think it's normal though and realizing you need to find yourself is half the battle. The only thing that has helped pull me out of that little pitt of uncertantity is some serious introspective thinking and time. Once you realize you are lost you can start to find your way.

I don't know if this post is much help. Im having trouble getting my brain to work right now it seems. Il try to post a more helpful little ditty tomorow when I can think straight.

I've been through that quite a few times in my short existence. It ussually passes when I feel like I have found some type of purpose. I guess you just have to find it on your own though.

This is all something were trying to find out. Who am I? In time you'll realize it's all inside of you. There's a light inside of everyone of us that's waiting to shine. To let it shine, you have to get shed some of the mud that gets in the way.

Everyone has a degree of shallowness whether they like to admit it or not. It's only natural. It doesn't make you a bad person. If you feel so bad about it, it's time to extend kindness to others. Showing kindness and compassion will only have it returned ten-fold.

You are struggling to find comfort in your own skin. Be the person you want to be, and shrug of how others perceive you. Be yourself man, even if you are trying to hide some weirdness. Everyone else may not appreciate it, but the ones that love you will adore you more. Don't be afraid to be yourself, you can change aspects of yourself, but you can never change your roots. Break down those barriers and walls, it's a new day.
