In my opinion....some of the best punk bands ever. O have linked it to myspace pages that I could find on these bands. Some of these pages are weak, but listen to the songs...It is all free and that is good.
Ok. I am done..I think I put a lot on here..feel free to add others. Please, no Ramones, Sex Pistols, Blink182 or Green Day.

Minor Threat--seriously fast. A straight edge band from D.C. Ian Makaye the lead singer always believed in D.I. Y. and has continued to do that throughout his career with Fugazi. They only made 2 albums but every song goes off and is very punk and fast.

The Misfits-The most demented and evil punk band ever. They were only good when Glenn Danzig was the lead singer. Way fuckin hardcore. This space is kinda lame, cause it has only one song but it is with Danzig, so it goes off.

The Descendents\\\Probably one of the poppiest punk bands I have ever truly liked. The crazy obcene lyrics and musical geniuos of these guys you just cant help but like them...on this page the best songs are..not much on this page but it does have I'm not a loser..One of their best..crank it up and listen to these crazy ass lyrics. You would never hear this song on the radio in a million years..

J.F.A...The first song they got on this space is Beach Blanket Bongout..great song, I love every song this band ever made...This was the first band that brought around skate/punk...but is still very hardcore and raw. Try to listen to all 4 of the songs..especially jonnieD. I listened to these guys once for 3 months straight trippin on Robo.

G.B.H.= city baby attacked by Rats

GBH out of Birmingham England....fast, hard driven and hardcore. I seen them in San Diego with Circle Jerks a few years back. I had always wanted to see them.

The Germs- Another one of the Greatest Punk bands. No bubble gum here. Not even Close. Darby Crash is a true icom of punk. Didn't give a fuck about anything, that is probably why he died at 21. At least he lived long enough to hoook us up with some great punk.

The Exploited-The most hardcore punk band to ever come out of the U.K. I always loved the name of their songs..

Sex and Violence
The list could go on forever..
I also saw the Exploited in Tijuana , Type O negative opened for them. I seen some guy jump off the 3rd balcony. I stage dived 3 times at this show.






Bad Brains--My all time favorite. Pretty much the only punk band ever to have all black members. It is a mixture of reggae and punk. But mostly hardcore punk. The fastest ever to have been made. H.R.'s vocals fucking crank and the energy is crazy. I have seen Bad Brains live 3 times...once as an opener for Beastie Boys...Once in San Diego at 4th and B and once at the house of blues in Hollywood. The bass player darryl died a few days back.

Black Flag- Fuck, what can I say about Black Flag, the true first American punk band. Raw and hardcore, not giving a shit what they said in thier lyrics. Make sure you listen to Revenge on this page. I never like Henry Rollins though. I like all the other singers they have had except him.

Cadillac Tramps--Make sure you listen to Cadillac Hearse...One of my all time favorite Tramps songs
I have seen these guys 7 times in my life. The shows always go off. First time I ever seen them was in Tijuana with the Cramps. Fuckin crazy. There were a lot of huge skins in the pit.

None of them were metal at all. You've obviously never heard of crust, grindcore, or anything that's outside the spotlight.. These bands are punk in mindset, and attitude.
