Aerocloner Pumping Schedule?
I've searched the forums pretty well and can't find what anyone's aero cloner pump schedules are so sorry in advance for the total noob question:
I've got an aerocloner all set up and ready to go but I'm not sure what pumping / misting schedule to use. I thought my bud told me twice or three times a day for an half hour with the lights on? Does that sound right? The clones will be in rapid rooters and 2 inch net cups. I know that is slightly unconventional be he swears by it and his grows kick ass.

There is no schedule with an aero cloner it runs 24/7 while you are rooting your clones.

Aerocloner Pumping Schedule?
OK thanks for the replies. I will experiment with this group and try the timed / rapid rooter method that my boy uses. I know the Rapid Rooters retain plenty of moisture - his schedule is 15 minutes on twice a day...he gets good results so I'll try it. Most of these clones are for him anyway! Plain water with a few drops of Superthrive in the res.
If the cuttings were just exposed like normal aeroclones I'm sure the 24/7 schedule would be the best.
Thanks again for the replies and I will post pics in one week so we can see the results!

Aerocloner Pumping Schedule?
this is something i have exparimented with for three years first off zandor has tought me everything and i always use his advice over most other posters becouse he is always on the money!!!! he deffinatley knows his shit my aero system is like the gh aero 36as for my timer i made an duel setup that has 2 anolog muti set timers and a relay all in one elect box so i have a on time and off time .when just starting with small roots i run the pump for 24 hours this creates a lot of oxigen rich water (very important) for rooting when i get about 10 inches of roots (cool water below 70 deg) i run my timer for 3 min on and 8 min off res temp is cool. but in warm weather ( water temp above 70) i run the water for 1 min on and 5 min off this keeps root rot away without cooling your water, cold water has more oxigen and yor roots are happy in cool water. but roots sitting in warm water sometimes rots the hell out of them and will kill your shit so the pump in the resivoir box dont heat the water and i feel i get a longer life from the pumps and less root rot in the summer and my ph stays around 5.5 to 6, keep your tts between 1000 and 1200 ppm. this has been my system for years and it works great.

A small frozen watter bottle in your rez will drop the temp and stop root rot. that is common when the water temperature gets to warm but just a bottle or two frozed and droped in is the key.
I have been know to make up extra nutrients and then freezes it in ice cube trays to bring down the temp of a rez in the summer. When they melt you get new nutrients. The water was Ph balanced at the time it was covered and frozen so its fine to drop in your rez if you have temperature problems.
Just an idea that may help.

Aerocloner Pumping Schedule?
One week later and, of the six, it appears as though we've lost one (far left) but aside from some yellowing, the rest seem to be making it OK? No roots showing through the Rapid Rooters but they are standing up after drooping some initially.

Ok, thanks RacerX. I guess it's obvious I have no idea what I'm doing? This is the first time I've used this cloner and just my second attempt at cloning period.
I'll take the dome off tonight and quit misting them.
