Beer: Domestic or Import?

here, you have to have a liscense to sell anything aside from beer or malt liquor...


btw, i dont' mean to buy it.. i mean to sell it... and the grocery stores and shit never go through all that just to appease to the drunkards lol... the only place you see any spirits is in a liquor store.

you also can't buy it after midnight, and on sunday, you have to wait til after noon to buy it.

ya we dont have many liqour stores. if any infact, we have shops that will sell wine and have like few different types of beer in a fridge but yeah all the hard liqor is behind the counter at grocerys here.

dunno if anyone will agree with me but one beer i dont really like is budweiser, it just taste like water to me, took weak and hasnt got enough flavour. They tried to make it refreshin but at the same time have great taste of beer, but i think fosters kind of did a better job with that.. i dont know why but when i drink a fosters it taste very refreshing but at the same time a nice strong flavoured brew

I will only drink budweiser most of the time. Unless I'm broke, or it's free beer. When I don't have much money, I'll pick up a couple of tall boys of that 211 Steel Reserve mentioned earlier. While I must admit, it's got a funky tast (kinda sweet, really) it will most certainly FUCK YOU UP. I usually drink Bud Ice though. It's got a nice kick to it, it's cheap, and I usually end up getting well lit and don't have to drink that many. When I got money in my pocket though, I'll buy regular Budweiser. I'm pretty partial to Bud Ice though.

tried Guiness once. ACK! that shit was horrible.

corona sucks. most people think its good because its expensive and it is an import. mexicans laught at tourists who drink this shit. if you want to try better mexican beers i suggest carta blanca, dos equis or pacifico. these are all lagers and quite refreshing.

They sell until midnight down there? Damn...only 11pm over here on the East Coast. And trust me, that extra hour would be pretty fucking clutch. Have just missed the store on a few occasions. Won't be so bad anymore, because we are all turning 21 this year, so we can hit the bar or what not, but in the past it has had a slight effect sometimes. I'm fucked in a few months..I live next to a liquor store...and within a 5 minute walk of like at least 3 bars. And a 5 minute drive to like 20. There might be some trouble very soon lol.

Haha thanks man. Appreciate that. Although I don't look very old, I have drank at bars before, just not too often. And for a few months, I was able to buy at the liquor store next to me when the owner hired some idiot. It's a great year though, there's like a few of my friends every month turning legal..so you know how that goes. And when I get my turn this summer, most of my friends will be legal...so only good times to come. So you recommend the "Screaming Nazi" lol...I'll jot that down so I remember.

of domestic beer.. bud is the best.. i mean our alternatives are what? busch, miller, coors, and a few state related brands (lone star, miluake's best, ect ect)...

to whoever said corona sucks... i laugh at you... heinikens are fuckin good, and corona is like the mexican version of that (in taste...) btw, come here and ask for whatever beer you said, and watch the strange looks you get along the lines of "wtf are you talking about" for import, unless we go out and specially find it (i'm just talking about what you can find in grocery stores, liquor stores and convience stores here) all you're going to find other then domestic is heiniken, corona, and fosters...

mac.. i was an alcoholic long before i was 21 lol... kinda sad but it's true... when i hit 21, i actually started getting BETTER in that problem... especially when it comes to bars... man fucking beer in bars is rediculous (prices) anytime i'm about to go to a bar i get drunk FIRST... then i just buy enough to keep me that way...

oh yeah, liquor stores only stay open til 9 pm... but ifyou walk into a grocery store tyring to buy beer, it better be scanned before midnight.. cuz once it hits midnight, they literally can't and won't sell it you (they can't because if you try to scan beer after midnight it won't scan...)

oh yeah, bong i forgot, they sell wine in the stores too... i knew there was something i was forgetting..

so unless you're in a liquor store all you're ever going to see is wine beer and malt liquor.

21st birthdays are really a good time.
also believe it or not, but i never once tried to buy booze or go to a bar until i was 21. granted i did my fair share of boozing, but going to the bar was like a sacred thing to me before i turned 21 and i didnt want to ruin my 21st by going to the bar before it. and boy was i glad i didnt when i turned 21. it was that much cooler.
