help please

ive read that you need get the buds when your plants done but i dont understand WHAT the buds are. i think its everythin exept leaves, stem and roots but i dont no coz im a noob to the max, anyway can i av a pic or somethin to help?. thanks

Just look around in pics of peoples grows and im sure you can tell the difference between bud n leaves
