I'm interested in this too, but for different reasons. Mainly, it seems safer if items don't have to cross international borders.
I'm not saying that I disagree with anybody here, we just have different opinions. I'm OK with that. It seems to me that progress anywhere, Canada for example, would benefit us all. So I wouldn't have a problem supporting a Canadian movement; I feel that success there would have a positive effect here in the U.S.
