One time last week I had my bud in my personal glass jar in my bag in my moms car and I forgot where it was. Well let's just say everything was fuckin ice cold and my PSP had trails every time the screen made motion because of the temp I guess. Well the jar was ice cold but my buds were still fine and soft. When I stored bud in plastic I come back like a week laterand everything has lost it's color and the buds are dry and nasty. My buds stay just as fresh and potent as the first day I bought it when they are in the jar. Personally I think glass jars are the shit and I don't store buds any other way ever now. I think you should pick up some air-tight jars that has the metal clamps. They are easier to open than pickle jars lol.

My mom has a ton of mason jars in the shed because she uses them to store sauces and shit for like a year or two.

I went out and bought a fire/water proof safe to keep all my stuff in.
