I know, sucks doesn't it - I wanted them to work so bad...

Depending on your room size, noise requirements and how you want to route the cooling its tough to say. Are you going to use a scrubber?

Lets start with the basics - whadaya have for:

Room Size
Room ducting (window, floor vent, wall vent? heat has to go somewhere)
Ambient temperature (avg room temp with no light on)
Intake temp (where are you getting the cooling air and what temp is it)
Bulb wattage I think you said 1 400W HPS?
Scrubber yes/no (makes a BIG difference in the size of fan needed if using for cooling and odor control)
