I have heard of this pop and crackle happening in weed that was over nute and not flushed.

Popping Weed last night i had a bong, pretty good in size. but the weed was popping like crazy, not normal pops that you get sometimes, but really popping and cracking. it also got me severely fucked. so i was wondering if you could help me out with a few questions.
