Walmart CFL's

I bought a 3 pack of 26 watt cfls from walmart the other day for like 7 bucks but cant tell whether they are 5000K or what. They dont look orangy but it doesnt say on the pacakge. Anybody know?

They should say something like soft white, cool white or warm white, or something along those lines. The cool white bulbs are usually in the blue spectrum, the soft white are usually in the middle of the spectrum, and the warm whites are in the red spectrum.

I'm gonna chime in here and say "so what."

I bought both the daylight cfl's and the cool white cfl's from Wal-Mart for my veggin' and I didn't notice any difference in growth between the two. I did notice a drastic color difference, the cool white ones look like my HPS and the daylight ones look like my MH but it didn't seem to matter.

You don't get them at Wal-marts.

im flowering right now with 42 watt cfls i bought from walmart...so fuck u

haha the walmart in LAX funny, but I'm using 2000k and 6000k bulb right now myself from walmart as well 26ws and a 42w one from the menards next door

the cool white look like your HPS? and the Warm ones look like your MH?

What are the kelvin temps on your Warm Whites? and Cool whites?

just curious cuz most Warm CFLS are orangy much like a HPS and Cool whites are usally white like a MH....

And you can get CFLs anywhere.. Wal;mart or whatever... Special T5s and grow bulbs are better yes.. but you can pull good grows with CFLS. from walmart..... Dont diss em Love emm.....
