What the hell?

I'm sitting here, watching the news, and this story comes on. This guy mugged somebody in north Dallas somewhere around 16 years ago. He got a whole $2 from the guy he robbed. He gets caught, goes to jail, the other guy gets his wallet and his $2 back. The judge gives him 10 years probation. This guy smokes a joint, and they send him to prison for life. He's been sitting in there for 16 years now. I think he should have went to jail in the first place for the robbery and served time for that, but damn...

I agree, the robbery should have gotten him more time. The joint is just wrong. I know texas isn't weed friendly but damn.
