Why on earth would you need something that precise....penny pincher.

Iv never seen a triple beam that gos to .000....that more like a quadruple beam balance.

Screw the pocket digitals....buy a good triple beam and its the last one you will buy and never buy batteries again or wonder if its accurate.

Yeah, if you want a really good one, you gotta shell out quite a few hundred bucks. I just need it for probably a one-time thing, so that's why I just got a cheap $30 one (it's a 10 X 0.001 Gram Diamond Scale, which is perfect for what I need). It'll work, not the best, but it'll do the job I need it to do.

I and a few others were lucky enough to snag one for $25 a few months ago from a board member here who bough a shit load of them from a school that was closing or something. I forget. :rasta:

Yeah I got mine on ebay for like 20 bucks. It's a jeweler's scale and it measures to the tenth of a gram, but they have hundredth too.

Where can u just get a .0 one? any kind of convenience store? maybe a cooking shop?

if you go to college or if ur still in school, steal one from the chemistry lab. if not that u can get a nice one at staples but they arent even that acurate. you could probably order one online and pay like 30 bucks for rush shipping.

Don't try to steal something from anywhere, especially a college lab. Our scales in some of my chem and bio labs are well over $1000 and they measure to the .0001. You steal one of those, and you will get caught and you will get sent to jail and/or prison.
