Hey, Daner, and welcome to the boards. Have you read the thread below and the others in this area on this topic? There are lots of good comments in it about cannabis as it relates to anxiety. And there are many more threads in this area about the same topic, including people's experiences with drug interactions.

I don't think anyone can really give you an answer about how you personally will interact. They can only give you their personal experiences. Everyone's different in how he/she experiences anxiety and how those prescription drugs have an effect, both alone and in tandem with cannabis. Mix anxiety, two prescription drugs, your own unique body chemisty, and cannabis all together, and all anyone can give you is a big question mark. If you want to see how you'll react, you'll probably simply have to test it. Just be very careful.

Make sure that the name of that link doesn't throw you off. Inside that thread, you'll see people talking about cannabis aggravating their anxiety. From what I've seen here, that's almost as common an experience as people feeling calmed and chillled by it.

My question is, can you smoke if you are on perscription drugs such as Lexapro and Clonazepam (klonapin)? These are both anxiety drugs and I was wondering if smoking would have a weird affect if I had these other two drugs in my system. I'm interested Rating: 5
