what are peoples input on the following article ive quoted from another forum, im harvesting in two days so it too late for me but sounded interesting, seeing as water deprevation and light depravation seem to be common-ish practice with some folks...

"They also, sometimes, strip a width of skin off the main stem to prevent the flow of nutrients to the buds for the last week or so. The same can be done by banding - tying a very tight band around the stem. The result is golden/yellow buds. A lot of Columbian used to be like that apparently, but commercial grows used lesser strains and were not interested in these cannaseur practices. I believe some of the mountain growers (non commercial) still do this. But they are becoming fewer in number I believe."

it sounds like it make sense, im interested in matbe tryingthis next time round but id like some opinion from anyone who might know

cheers
