    First time growing outdoors-cali

Made a mistake and already got clones right now, I read up and found out it's better to plant somewhere around june and have plants a foot tall.

Well...It's about 4 months before june and i got clones, will it be ok to plant outside in a month from now? Should I keep vegging them all the way till june? Does it harm them to veg for too long?

How much a difference in yeild and quality if I plant before june? Or am I just too worried and need to chill out?

when you place the clones outdoors early say march or even april it will usually start to flower and then reveg as the dark hours decrease, and during reveg it tends to set the plants back about a month or even longer as they are confused, so if your intentions to start so early was so you would have big plants you really didnt gain anything as the clones placed out in may will be just as big as the ones you placed out 1-2 months earlier as they didnt have to reveg.
its possible in some areas you can place out clones early if weather permits like now or atleast by the first of march and they will finish flowering and you could get a small spring harvest, you might be able to try this but even if they do reveg they will still flower as normal in the fall, its just you really didnt gain anything by placing them outdoors early.

Thank you so much for the information. I'm going to keep them in veg indoors (got veg lights) and get as close to june as possible before putting them outside.

That shouldn't cause any problems right? Other then them being much larger?

would just veg until your dark hours outside is around 10 or less then it should be safe to plant outdoors without them trying to flower wich would probably happen well before june as the longest day of the year is in june maybe sometime in late april or may would suggest checking your sunrise and sunset times for your location to narrow it down to a more specific time.
