^That was interesting, and reading about how commercialized it is getting in some places makes me think I should just pay some doctor the $150 fee and get legal. I still want to let my doctor do some research, but because of the controversy, I'm expecting a no.

Now, let's say he does sign me off because of my condition, is there any way he could get in trouble or loose his license? I know some doctors have, but it sounds like they were more sketchy and might have lost it not specifically for recommending medical marijuana, but not for doing full evaluations on patients.

I'm just a little curious on if there can be any repercussions for a completely legit and well respected doctor for signing a recommendation for medical marijuana in California.

Wish me luck on becoming Legal :) Tomorrow is my doctor's appointment and I'm really hoping I can convince him to write me a recommendation for medical marijuana to ease my Crohn's disease symptoms. I don't think he will, but I'm very hopeful. I have been thinking about changing doctors anyway so if he doesn't write me this and I do change, I think when I look for a new doctor I'll try to find out his opinions on medical marijuana beforehand. I have a feeling he will just want to write me a prescription for some other Rating: 5
