Different Coloured Eyes i was just thinking about this... like if you have green eyes do you see red as a different colour to someone with blue eyes... and how can this be proved... cos if one person identifies a colour as red, they wouldnt actually know if it was different to what everyone else thinks of as red... because since birth they will have seen everyone elses blue as red and therefore just associate the colour as red... ...im confusing myself so much ! so do people with different coloured eyes see Rating: 5

Because if all of those ppl would disagree that the color is red. Right? I mean there's no way we could all agree that the color was red if we all saw it as a different color. Am I making any sense?

Its the black part of the eye (pupil)that actually sees not the coloured part of the eye and everyones pupils are black so we all see the same.

Sholdnt it, i would think we all have a different perspective of reality beased on what and how we see, things are a set colour and we presieve them the was we do because of our eyes.
But then again thats just a passing thought. Would be neat though.

the thing is that we all could possibly see this color "red" as a different color... like whenever u see it, it's "red", just a name... but what you perceive to be "red", you might actually be seeing it as my perception of green looks to me, and i may see it as your perception of blue looks to u. just like some people are nice, others mean, some women, some men.

and another thing... smell is supposedly the strongest sense tied to memory... but i cant remember any smells... except for that of pot.

different textures reflect some certain wavelenghts of light...so..even we see colours...they dont exist...as in we can't kno the real colours of the objects cause the light makes us see em in some certain colours :P in english this sounds v odd...
anyways the light goes in ...to tht black part of our eyes....so...the rest dont matter at all
