I have been told by a judge that if I do, I think it was, 16 hours community service before some time in March that is my court case, that he will find me not guilty automaticly. Gonna part of it tommorow.

i still wanna know how picking up trash outside our police station for 4 hours was doing a service to the community...
i wish they'd call it what it was.... slavery...

Just got back from my community service, it's realy not as bad as everyone makes it out to be, hell, I did more when I was working at a Boy Scout Camp

havent done any volunteer work before
but there is one way i would like to help the community
being a tester with weed to find all the benefits
and to show that there is no negative effects
im glad you enjoyed doing somethin tho

I volunteer at a women's shelter/crisis center. Sometimes it's so heavy it's too much because awful stuff happens to some of those ladies. But seeing them overcome abusive, awful situations and helping them do that and get on their own two feet is amazing.
If I had to take a new assignment now, I think I'd volunteer in an animal care facility. Or volunteer to rock and hold preemies and babies at a large hospital. Or to play with kids at a children's advocacy center. Read to kids at a library or mentor some at their school. If I hadn't just lost a sister three months ago, I might try and do something with cancer or AIDS patients, but that hits too close to home right now, death and dying.[SIZE=\"4\"]\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"[/SIZE]
