If you must ask......

to tell you the truth nobody knows and it is an unconfirmed theory. Many people swear by this method to induce flowering faster and to trigger certain chemical reactions to start. I have tried this method and didn't notice a major difference that would make me try doing it again. I'm sure there will be people who will argue this but I think it is just too hard to know without a doubt.

After reading about the 24 dark cycle...Most people grow 18/6 light/dark during veg so going to 6/18 light/dark for 2 days before going to 12/12 would be better

I came up with 2 reasons to back this...first 24 hours of dark would deplete all stored energy that the plant had (this can cause all kindsa issues besides the desired affect of flowering) to me it just seems like too much stress...second 6/18 for 2 days would lead the plant to believe the cycles of light are just much shorter yet still give some light to charge up for the dark period...it keeps the natural rythm circadian I think is the word...the plant has evolved for a long ass time on this rythm and 18/6 to 6/18 have been experienced whereas with the exception of a catastrophic event 24 dark just hasn't
