how big do you pack your bowls?

I pack to the top and VERY tightly, youll have to flip the bowl about 2-4 times before its ash

I normally pack smaller bowls (2-3 hits) if I don't have that much weed. But if I have some to spare I will pack bowls that produce 10+ hits.

Wow, someone up there mentioned a .3 bowl as big. Maybe my bowl is real huge or something but I put a .76 nug in my baby once and kept turning it for green hit after green hit.

I go back and forth, but usually, I tend to pack smaller bowls, because the bigger the bowl, the more residual burn you get in the middle of the bowl thus losing and wasting weed... I even smoke pinchies out of my bong for good green hits everytime...

I have noticed there is a certain depth where you can pull through without sucking anything into the pipe. (that pisses me off)

Can people not create and manipulate a negative pressure on a pipe without sucking anything in it? I think if you pack too big, you won't get the flow of air. If you have to 'SUCK' on a pipe, its too tight. You should be able to lightly pull on it and get plenty of smoke. If I am alone, I pack small. But I catch hell with my friends if I pack those 'weak sauce' bowls.
